Prayer Group Testimony
Christina Peters, the executive director of AWARD said that, “when we first started to work with these women, they were so shy to talk about pressing matters and were reluctant to work with us. Whereas, after the financial support, it’s so pleasing to see the confidence in these women, just seeing the glow of happiness in their eyes. These women also collected money and gave it to AWARD to help people who were affected by the recent floods. I am thankful to PPI and the donor for all their support in making this project successful”.
Ashraf Mall, the CEO of PPI “really amazing to visit the businesses of these women and see the transformation in their lives. Am really impressed that in just a short period of time these women are earning more than PKR 30,000 each month and contributing to the development of their families and the community. The saying is true, if you stop feeding someone a fish, they will starve but if you teach them to catch fish they will survive and flourish and not be dependent on anyone. These women and their families have not only grown materially but also spiritually and they are making a difference in their community. It is their hard work, determination, prayers and togetherness that has made them successful. I wish them all the best as they continue their journey of faith and prosperity”.
